Sheila Moyle

Dr. Moyle’s research interests center on student development across academic and experiential learning contexts, with a particular emphasis on optimizing student performance, growth, and professional identity formation. Her work explores the use of multisource feedback as a mechanism to support student development during fieldwork, enhance self-reflection, and promote continuous improvement. In addition, she is interested in examining resiliency strategies that support student well-being, persistence, and adaptive capacity in the face of academic and clinical challenges. A third focus of her research addresses the development of professionalism, including professional behaviors, communication, and readiness for practice. Collectively, her research seeks to inform evidence-based educational practices that support student success and prepare learners for effective, ethical, and resilient professional practice.
