ABOUT
Gergana Jostova is a Professor of Finance at the George Washington University School of Business and a Chartered Financial Analyst. Prior to joining GWU, she has worked for the Trading Strategy Groups at JPMorganChase and Deutsche Bank in NYC. Her research examines how our behavioral biases contribute to mispricing in financial markets and explores the many profitable trading strategies that result from this mispricing. She has published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science, and is honored to have been recognized with research and teaching awards. She loves watching her BBA students get excited about the financial world and the importance of starting to invest early in life. She is fascinated by watching her MS in Finance students turn into portfolio managers and financial analysts, and marvels at the creative insights of her doctoral students when exploring financial puzzles.
