RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in how fundamental quark and gluon particles form composite structures such as familiar protons, neutrons, and atomic nuclei, but also unstable hadrons. My preferred technique is to use high energy electron scattering. Most of my experiments are conducted at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility in Newport News, VA. Currently, I am interested in the change in momentum of quarks whose parent proton or neutron is bound inside a nucleus, the formation of short-range correlations of nucleons within nuclei, and the effects of two-photon exchange on determinations of proton form factors.
